COMMISSIONER SPOTLIGHT

Jeffrey Pardee joined the Airport Commission in May 2017.  A resident of Ward 5, Pardee has lived in Riverside for nearly 25 years and is the Branch Manager of a local bank, located in downtown Riverside.  As a Leadership Riverside alum, and Past President of the Riverside Sunrise Rotary, Pardee is familiar with the many needs of the community and devotes much of his time supporting local non-profits.  Having a passion for aviation and flying, Commissioner Pardee has flown solo and continues to work towards his private pilot’s license.

TENANT APPRECIATION 2018

The Annual Tenant Appreciation Day was held on Wednesday, February 7th and provided Riverside Airport tenants with an opportunity to enjoy refreshments and engage with staff. Opportunity drawing winners included Lee Scheffers (Capone's Pizza Gift Card), Western Aero Club ($99 Next Gen Gift Certificate) and Gale Collero (Aircraft Spruce Gift Card).

TAXABLE POSSESSORY INTERESTS

All Riverside Airport Hangar Tenants are subject to yearly taxable possessory interests as identified in hangar lease agreements.  According to the California Board of Equalization, the possessory interest is defined as a possession or a a claim to a right of possession of publicly owned real property that provides benefit to the possessor.  Examples of taxable possessory interests include aircraft hangars and tie-downs at publicly  owned land.

INCIDENT REPORTING

Incidents that occur on airport property should be reported within 24 hours to the Airport Administrative Office at 951-351-6113.  If you see something, say something if you witness or are a part of an incident where a vehicle, aircraft, building, gate or hangar is damaged.
